In young years, I started making jewelry and after high-school I was educated in the best places for jewelry.
Pforzheim, as the golden city in Germany, Idar-Oberstein, the center of gemstones, for my bachelor’s degree, and Stockholm with its cosmopolitan, creative approach for my master’s.
With my jewelry I want to make your day more beautiful and special.
In November 2019, I opened my own goldsmith and silversmith shop in Neustadt, in the very north of Germany right by the sea.
Below you can find the milestones of my education as a gold- and silversmith and jewelry designer:
- 2011-2014: state certified designer for jewelry and device at the goldsmith school in Pforzheim, Germany (Berufskolleg für Design – Schmuck und Gerät, Goldschmiedeschule Pforzheim)
- 2014-2017: Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction in “gemstone and jewelry” at Trier University of Applied Sciences, Germany (Hochschule Trier)
- 2016-2018: sequential courses in glass art in Idar-Oberstein, Berlin and Murano (Italy)
- 2017-2019: Master of Fine Arts in Crafts at University of Arts, Crafts and Design at Stockholm, Sweden (Konstfack)
- 2017-2018: scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service
- 2019: Gunnar Cyrens silver grant as an award for my master’s
- 2019: Opening of Charlie’s goldsmith and silversmith shop in Neustadt in Holstein (Germany)
- 2012-2019 and still ongoing: training as a gemstone setter
- Workshops for techniques such as granulating, filigree and the production of special necklaces
